lyrics

Em D G
crusteri sú čiernobieli v crustovom
D C G
a skinheadi tým vôbec nič nesedí
iba futbal pivo pudlíky a ďalší skinheadi

C G Em
a jedna lastovička leto nerobí

strejtedž nefetuje nepije a mäso nežere
trešeri majú šatky a šiltovky nahor
metalisti počúvajú kapely čo končia na „tor“
roker nosí rifľovku vyšúchanú belasú
a grandžeri... počkať, takí ešte sú?

STEREOTYPES

crusters are all in black and white crusty dresses
they wait for nuclear war and it's near
punkers are ragged, vulgar and always screwed
or they look like they're from a fucking fashion-book
HC kids are the smartest rascals around
they know what to do and what tattoo you should have
skinheads always hate everything
but football, beer, dogs and other skins

we feed the stereotypes in our scene, or whatever you call it
we stupidly divide ourselves and never admit our mistakes
we sing the songs but we lost their meanings
and one swallow doesn't make a summer

straight-edge don't smoke, don't drink, don't eat meat
at the gigs they are like crazy and jump on themselves
country guys wear checkered flannel shirts
heart on hand, honest up to their asshole
thrashers wear bandanas and truckers hats with peaks up
metallers listen to the bands which end with "tor"
rockers wear worn out sky-blue jeans vests
and grunge... wait, there is still someone like that?

Stereotypy (DxFxFx, 2011)

Instead of communication and cooperation in our small underground scene, we divide ourselves due to the preconceptions we have of others, prejudices and stereotypes, whats more is that we created it. In this song I mention various subculture branches, but the topic is universal and sadly fits any big community of people. We are incredibly good when it comes to dividing and pointing fingers at each other. We have lost empathy and a sense of cooperation. Instead of getting together we are dividing ourselves. We don't gain anything from our difference and instead of unity and cohesion there is nothing but brakes and barriers. We definitely don't understand that unity is based in divergence and diversity. OK, not everyone.
